Cordless electric spin scrubber with interchangeable heads

How to Use a Cordless Spin Scrubber Without Scratching

A cordless spin scrubber spins the head for you, so grout lines, sink corners and pot bottoms take less elbow work. The heads do the real work, and picking the right one is how you avoid scratches.

Pick the head by surface

  • Sponge head: glass shower doors, tiles, sinks and anything glossy.
  • Bristle brush head: grout lines, textured tiles, shoe soles and corners.
  • Scouring head: stuck-on grime on sturdy surfaces. Test it first.
  • Wire-ball head (model 280): burnt-on residue on pots and grill grates only. Never use it on non-stick pans, glass hobs, acrylic baths or plastic.

Five rules that prevent scratches

  1. Test any head on a small hidden spot first.
  2. Keep the surface wet with your usual cleaner. Dry spinning is what scuffs.
  3. Let the spin do the work and use light pressure.
  4. Rinse grit out of the head before you move to a new surface.
  5. Do not submerge the scrubber body in water, and dry it before charging.

The three models

We sell three complete models, each with a USB charging cable: model 280 (white or grey), model JM12 (white or purple, with a fixed bracket) and the compact AG-01. The heads in the box differ by model and are listed on the product page. The supplier quotes up to about 360 rpm and up to about 90 minutes per charge; real run time depends on the head and the pressure.
