Plush USB foot warmer with room for both feet

A USB Plush Foot Warmer for the Desk: What It Does and What It Doesn't

Cold feet at a desk are a small problem that ruins a long afternoon. A USB plush foot warmer is a simple fix: a soft, slipper-like pouch with room for both feet and a thin heating film inside.

How it works

Plug the USB cable into a USB plug adapter, a power bank or a laptop port, and it starts warming. The supplier says it takes about three minutes to warm up. There is no separate controller and no timer. Plugging it in switches it on and unplugging switches it off, so unplug it when you get up.

What you get

  • One foot warmer, about 32 × 28 × 12 cm
  • A faux fur or velvet outer, in 14 styles from plain colours to animal faces
  • A zip-off cover that can be washed once the heating part is taken out
  • A USB cable (the USB plug adapter is not included)

Where it works best

Under a desk, on the sofa or in a reading chair: anywhere you sit for a while within reach of a USB power source. Run the cable along a desk leg so the chair does not roll over it.

What it is not

It warms your feet, not the room, so it won't replace your heating. It is a comfort product, not a medical device.

Care

Never wash the heating part. Take it out, wash only the cover and let everything dry fully before you plug it in again.

See all styles on the foot warmer page. For cold hands, our guide on keeping hands warm at your desk covers the rest.
